Hi folks! It’s been a while, huh. Well, I can assure you that I’ve been beavering away behind the scenes, and I thought I should share what I’ve been working on.

Private Academy: Supercharged Devolution

So one thing that’s bothered me visually with Private Academy has been how the character art didn’t match the pixel art style of the in-game art. So over the last little bit I’ve been reworking the character portraits, sexy animations, typography and UI to all fit in the 16x16 style. I think this makes everything look much more cohesive and pleasing.

It’s taking me a while for a couple of reasons. Firstly real life has reared its ugly head with some events and mental health stuff that have required attention. But also, pixel art is hard! It’s been a real learning curve and I feel like I’m still figuring it out as I go.

Still, hopefully the results are worth it.

When the next release comes out it’s going to be all in the new art style, so you’ll be able to enjoy the boxy prettiness in all its glory. Not only that, but there’s going to be new sexy stuff with Teresa, and a brand new boss fight! Plus you get to go to the beach!
